You probably aren't going to read this page. Honestly, why would you? I'm struggling to think of a good use case for an 'About Us' page, and yet - here we are. In case you care, here's the story of 257 Productions.

Cara and AJ Powell met in the theatre. A long, long time ago. In Grand Rapids, Michigan. And they've been working in theatre - in one form or another - ever since. The Powells have appeared on stage, written, orchestrated, directed and produced. The Powells have designed lighting, arranged choreography, produced sound, and stage managed. There's not much, in a professional theatre, the Powells HAVEN'T DONE.

Post COVID, Cara and AJ started 257 Productions, an NYC Production House purpose-built to provide guidance, inspiration, ideas and access to stage time for theatre kids, aspiring actors, circus performers, comedians and anyone else with a talent worth sharing and a desire to share it. Dedicated to the ephemeral, built to be kooky, designed to be unforgettable.
